Romance does not always have to entail lavish gifts or long-distance travel. You can get there by making the most of what you already have and making it a priority in your bedroom.
It’s not uncommon for things to get stale when you’re married and share a bed with your partner. Excitement can easily give way to routine, and you may eventually wonder where all the romance went.
The bedroom can be both a haven for good sleep and a playground for intimate connections with your partner. So, if the daily grind has you falling into bed at night and rolling out the next morning without a second glance at your bed partner, it may be time to relight the fire.

However, avoid the common date night pitfall of focusing solely on the kids or how much your coworkers irritate you. The more personal your exchange, the better.

It’s a good idea to consider building a nest to relax your body and allow you to focus on your partner. The textures in your room can also serve as a buffet for you to experiment with and discover which sensations each of you is drawn to.
